Inviting All our Miami Fans to the New Arrivals Gate Art Show @ Bossa Gallery

Bossa Gallery created a project with the artist
Adriana Lerner Adelson which supports the
Rise Up organization

In her show "Unexpected Cashmere” Adriana uses her creativity to open borders and provide a reflection  about the world based on collective construction and relations with no frontiers. Her creations inspire, surprise and connect cultures.

The mission of Adriana’s company, Arrivals Gate, is to share beauty in the form of unique handmade pieces produced in small factories in Developing Countries. It all started a year ago, when she helped to keep open an artisan cashmere factory in Kathmandu, Nepal,  greatly affected by the April 2015 earthquake.

A portion of the sales from the show will benefit the Rise Up Gallery, a non-profit organization which provides therapeutic art workshops to the community and exhibits emerging artists in Miami's Wynwood Arts District. Through a partnership with Jackson Memorial Hospital, Rise Up offers workshops to new patients living with chronic injuries. Rise Up is a 100% volunteer based organization and is funded entirely through grants, private donations, and the sale of local artwork.
